Very nice staff. Compared to the price very good value. Some of the rooms need some repair. Rooms in the back of the house have noise from the railway. West Hampsted is an interesting part of london. Not very turistique.

We had a double room with shared toilet facilities, for 3 nights. We were made welcome by a friendly receptionist when we arrived and already I had a good feeling about the Charlotte. Our room was freshly decorated and very clean- the beds were made every day and the room tidied in our absence, which I did not expect for...

I have recently stayed here for 2 nights with my girlfriend.
We chose CGH purely on the price (other hotels, B&B's etc were well in excess of £200). We went in with pretty low expectations as generally you get what you pay for.
To our surprise the room was clean and furnished to a reasonable standard with flatscreen TV, Tea/Coffee...

Did not have to pay in advance. They arranged a room for us that would hold five, with an ensuite bathroom, and small kitchen, including fridge and...

Fantastic staff!
Cosy rooms; but very close to London Overground station.
The location is perfect, 3 min. walk to an underground station and 10 min. with the underground to the city.
Breakfast was OK.

I booked four days with the Charlotte Guest House through a national booking agency. The accommodation was on a 'bed and breakfast' basis and was £45.50 per night.
I arrived late on the first day and was greeted by a very pleasant East European receptionist who spoke excellent English. You may be asked for a £5 key deposit at this...

it was good to be next to underground and station
Breakfast is not very good and you have to wait as the room is small and staff (cook is rude, you hear him from the kitchen) not so friendly at breakfast.
