The location of the hotel is amazing for a relaxed break which is still close to heaps of bars and restaurants plus great shopping. We have stayed there 5 or 6 times over the years from one night to a week. We never tire of the place and the amazing breakfasts alone would pull us back. Great pub as well... More

The breakfast is one of the best I have eaten the Full english, eggs benedict and the smoked salmon muffins were to die for! The decor to the room was very modern and the beds really comfy. The staff were friendly and easy to chat to.

If you know Youngs Hotels then you know what to expect and this one does not disappoint. Good sized clean rooms and hearty breakfast. The pub food is standard Youngs pub fare - quite acceptable. The pub itself is very characteristic and has some interesting local history. The beer is very very good. Parking available for residents.

The Rose and Crown is a popular pub which also has rooms. A large bar round three sides of the counter provides a friendly environment to enjoy a wide range of drinks. The restaurant (booking a good idea in the evening; but avoid Tuesday Quiz Nights) has a good variety of food o f(generally) pretty got quality (try the sausage... More

I have stayed at the the Rose & Crown a few times since last reviewed in Oct 2012. Daughter lives in Wimbledon so if work takes me to London I try and stay here so I can take daughter out for a meal and a catchup. The cost included Breakfast, parking and free wifi. It has a small barrier controlled... More

Wimbledon Village draws thousands of people in the 'high season' because of the tennis tournament. We decided to have a look at the place on a sunny afternoon in March (yes, England does have sunny days in March!) without the packs of tourists. After visiting the AELTC (All English Lawn Tennis Club),which has taken on the village's world-famous name of... More

We usually stay at Cannizaro House when we are in Wimbledon, but thought we'd save some money and so tried the Rose and Crown round the corner. The Rose and Crown is in a great location a minute's walk to the common and right in the heart of Wimbledon village. The rooms are quiet, clean and spacious. Breakfast was included... More

Had a decent pub lunch at the Rose & Crown with friends. 3 of us had a hot sour dough roll with beef or pork plus a small portion of chips and coleslaw. 1 of us had shepherds pie and veg. All for £36 excl tip. Nice Youngs ordinary and Winter Warmer to wash it down! Worth a try.

A typical pub/hotel. Rooms a nice size. WiFi awful. Breakfast not great. Good location. Nice restaurants and bars nearby as is transportation, buses and tube station. It is worth paying the extra for a superior room.
