Good location but the hotel is not good. I paid 116 a night, for 2 nights breakfast included. The breakfast was actually just cereal and cold meats and a little bit of toast if the waiter was around and asked you. You can hear everything in the hotel, I could hear people talking and walking around. It was so bad... More

My partner and I booked an overnight stay with a theatre trip. On arrival we were told that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Room - of course we were excited! On inspection the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The tiles around the shower were 'pink' where they had not been cleaned and the... More

We stayed here for a long weekend trip just after New Year, and I can't recommend it enough! Superb location, on a quiet, peaceful street right next door to The British Museum, and within walking distance to many major attractions - Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square... Two tube stations are conveniently located a short walk away -... More

I paid just 75 pounds for a room next door (the Grange White Hall) but ended up in an executive double here. The room was spacious and comfortable, with elegant furnishings that made it feel somewhat special. The garden view helped to guarantee a peaceful night. Points to note: climate control is provided by a ceiling fan, and of course... More

I work in London but live far away - therefore I spend about a night a week here through choice. Value for money is unquestioned and it is always comfortable and the staff very friendly. A bit tired in certain places, but think the environment is lovely. More

First of all, I’ve given three stars as I was in this hotel on business and therefore wasn’t picking up the tab. If I was, you could knock two stars off my rating. The hotel is without doubt the hottest place I have ever stayed in central London. For £120 a night, you would expect a bit of climate control.... More

My husband and I have stayed twice at this small hotel for long weekends. It is so handy to all main shopping streets (oxford street is 10mins walk away). Bus stops are on street or round the corner, tubes nearby also but we were so central we walked a lot. Covent Gardens 15mins walk away. If you need to use... More

We booked this hotel on a super-advance purchase rate, so were very pleased with the standard of the accomodation - given the price. So, we were very lucky. Rooms nice and comfortable - lovely soft beds and nice new bathrooms. All very clean. There is no air conditioning in the rooms so it was quite hot - but we had... More

Shame about this place. Lovely building in a quiet, well located street but not all that it promises. It turns out the lovely library bar pictured is rarely open and you are directed down the road to a sister hotel with a horrible, brightly lit excuse for a bar. The charge for breakfast in the room was not clearly stated... More
