We've previously stayed in the Portland, sister hotel to the Clarendon on the same quiet road. The decor and comfort was equally good although our room was smaller than we had enjoyed at the Portland. Continental breakfast selection was more than adequate although an English breakfast option was expensive. As with the Portland the staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

We recently stayed at this hotel and we very happy with the service from the staff and the location. We were able to walk to Piccadilly and Trafalgar Square and down to the Thames. We would defiantly stay there again .

Recent business stay. Not really a hotel. Looks and has the feel of a B&B or guesthouse. Service level to match. No food other than breakfast on site. Room service evening food revolting. Staff pleasant but don't give impression of any sense of caring/responsibility. Would not recommend and won't be staying again.
