I stayed here, rather by accident, because the hotel I was supposed to be in for a conference was fully booked. I arrived about five minutes after my booking was made via a major bookings website. The check in was conducted absolutely professionally by Steffy, who offered me a choice of two rooms. I took the first, which was bijou,... More

After a poor result it was fantastic to stay in the quiet up market hotel with excellent sympathetic staff! Really enjoyed our one night stay just wish it could have been longer as the pillar is an excellent base even if just for wembley which is a tube ride or short taxi journey. Easy to get to from the M1,... More

This hotel in North London is well maintained and very clean. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are an adequate size though our en-suite was pretty cramped. There was a fairly typical Israeli type buffet fro breakfast. The big plus is very good car parking facilities without the usual exorbitant London charge. The wifi also worked and was... More

This little gem in London far exceeded my expectations, we stayed in the executive suite which was beautifully decorated and maintained. Possibly the best room I have had the pleasure of staying in, unfortunately we could only stay the one night (this time) The service was excellent and we were provided with an out of hours contact number should we... hotel is excellent. We had a suite as we were staying in the area for 12 days and we were very pleased with the service and the amenities. There was a fridge and use of a microwave so we were able to eat in when we wanted to. The only meal provided is breakfast which only has uncooked food but... More

This is a really great boutique hotel. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The accommodation is clean and the buffet breakfast is diverse with many dishes to choose from. Moreover, the dishes comply with the laws of kashrut. The bedroom contains a fridge, LCD screen, telephone and a good shower and toilte facilities. I can strongly recommend The Pillar.

I had originally planned to stay elsewhere but after coming across a great deal on one of the discount websites, I booked a night at the Pillar. I was very impressed with all aspects of the hotel, from the warmth of the welcome (I have never been given a mobile phone number in case of emergency in a hotel before!)... More

Lovely service, nice rooms all modern and fresh. A little walk to the Northern line station at Hendon but bearable. The service was very friendly and accommodating and although the amenities are limited the stay has been very comfortable.

Located in an old church, this boutique hotel is an excellent place if you have business (or pleasure) near Hendon or Golders Green. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fresh (and kosher). The staff was attending. I recommend.

Stayed her for two nights and it was comfortable and very interesting. The building is a listed English Heritage Landmark property and is beautifully refurbished inside. We stayed in the Gatehouse and the room was very nicely appointed. I was disappointed that there were no drink making facilities in the room and guests were expected to go to the Lobby to... More
