I stayed here by myself for a trip to London over a long weekend, and it served it's purpose. For the age of the building, I suppose the rooms and bathrooms are as clean as they can be, but perhaps the carpets could do with some replacing as they don't smell very nice. I really liked the curtains on the... More

I stayed here for a weekend with friends recently. It was not a very nice place but it was fine because we just wanted somewhere to lay our heads in the evening. When checking in the lady at reception was very kind, but when checking out the guy was very rude. I would recommend this accommodation to students or young... More

...it's like that in essence, but nothing like as fun. I was there for one night and it was fine - not good, but it did the job and I have a strong stomach. By the sounds of it I got off lightly. The lass on reception managed to be helpful, rude, cheerful and mardy all at the same time.... More

Six triple bunk beds situated in a normal sized hotel room - can't believe it has passed any fire risk assessment. The floor can't be seen due to the amount of bags, clothes, shoes strewn about the place and everything stinks, including the tiny showers and loos, but the longer you linger the more you get use to it and... This hostel feels more like a homeless shelter than a hostal, we had an early flight out of heathrow and thought the cheap price would be fine for 1 night. I awoke around 4:00 AM to a large man snore yelling in the bed above me, he must have been in his mid 30's so certainly no youth hostile here.... More

This hostel is disgusting, the receptionists are incredibly rude and unhelpful, the bathrooms are extremely dirty, there is no lift so if on the top floor (which we were) you have to go down stairs and back up to get to the toilets, there is no lift and the stairs are very dangerous. Dusty floors, cleaners can't speak English and... More

We arrived to an unhelpful and unfriendly reception then we were showed to our room and were disgusted. The beds were filthy and looked like they had never been cleaned, the bed sheets were stained and looked and smelt like they hadn't been washed. The floor was full of dirt and dust and we couldnt bare to stand on it... More

We stayed in a 16 bed dorm. location was great and facilities were good in terms of shared areas and reception, however the room was very small and uncomfortable. Beds were shoved into a room which should have only had 10-12 beds max, not much room to put luggage. Bathrooms were TERRIBLE! had to straddle the toilet to close the... More

The hostel has a great position in the city, close to the Tube and the Hyde Park. It is sufficiently clean, the rooms are little and the bathroom is shared with other people. There is a big room for the breakfast (there is coffee and some bread with jam, no more). You MUST be adaptable, but you can rest there... More
