We came here on a coach trip on 12th May for a Jazz lunch. The made consisted of a guitarist and a female singer who was almost falling to sleep and after about 3 songs they sat down to eat a lunch. They were having such impact on us we didn't notice when they stopped or when they stated again.... More

Stayed at the Devonport for one night on the 12th May, upon arrival I had lunch with what was supposed to be with jazz music, the singer looked most bored with it all. The food was not mind blowing, various selection however not anything to really inspire you, evening meal was much better, chicken wrapped in bacon, Salmon with a... More

If you enjoy the serenity of walks in a park with rolling hills and a choice of seeing major, historical attractions within one square mile, I am sure you will appreciate knowing that you can stay near these attractions in Greenwich, London, for about 25 pounds a night. That is correct--only 25 pounds per night. I recommend the Devonport House... More

I stayed with my family a few weeks ago. The hotel is beautiful. Greenvich is one of the most beautiful places in London and the hotel is at the height of the place. The location is perfect, not at the centre of London but with public transport you can be reached there within 20 minutes. The area is quiet and... More

At first glance this is a very attractive hotel, well located in Greenwich which is really buzzing with visitors. There are, indeed, many interesting visitor sites locally, including the Cutty Sark exhibition and the Royal Naval College. It is also in a good situation for using public transport to visit other parts of London. Excellent staff at reception, who were... More

Hotel is in heart of Greenwich right next to the park, museums and old Naval College and a short walk from the Cutty Sark. The hotel has ample parking and is spacious, clean and full of charm and character (unlike most modern hotels where every room is the same). The staff should be commended for their helpful, friendly attitude. There... More

Used this hotel for an overnight stay in Greenwich London with my wife on a Thursday night.. It is two minutes walk from the Cutty Sark DLR Station ( at the side of the ship itself), up a side street in lovely grounds. It is only a very short walk to the Naval Museum, and Greenwich park for the Queens... More

We've stayed here twice - once, a year ago, and once this year. The rooms are pretty small but clean, and nicely-appointed, the bathrooms are nice, and both times we were on the far end of a corridor, so no problem of noise from other hotel guests. Last year our room (102) was disturbed by some kind of mechanical noise... More

I recently visited the Davenport House for a business conference. The facilities were a little shabby in need of a good refurbishment, but having said that, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the catering was OK. One thing that really works for this hotel is the location - right at the gates to Greenwich Park with its historic Observatory... More

We stayed for an evening and was extremely impressed with the location. The building from the outside was incredibly impressive, but interior decor and the rooms let it down. Breakfast was standard but the service was awful, we didn't get coffee and those serving and clearing tables were so noisy we couldn't here our conversation. A hotel which has missed... More
