My husband & I stayed here, on business, for one night in Nov 2011. This is a budget hotel so we were not expecting the Ritz. The place is actively being done up and overall it was ok for what we paid. The room was clean & warm, we had complimentary toiletries & clean towels & a working tv (no... More

We stayed in a quad/ family room for four nights. The room was the same as last year, but in a much improved condition. It was renovated and had two comfortable double beds with a lot of open space. However, unfortunately the bathroom was in shambles as previously. There was a new flat screen TV installed, which had no or... More

We take on board all of our customer comments and are in the process of improving parts of the Hotel. Was once a hotel, but now just a backpackers. No room facilities other than a clean bed and towels. Be prepared to take your own tea/coffee making facilities, clothes ironing equipment, hair dryer, TV and internet access. Good location and friendly staff, but the property is woefully inadaquate to be termed a hotel. Have stayed in properties in same area... More

Thank you for your comments. However we would like to stress that this reviewer doesn't seem to be fully ware of the service and facilities that we offer. Ironing equipment, hair dryers, adaptors and wi fi available upon request. We state this on our website and also on booking sites too, so in this instance this guest just wasn't bothered... More

Well...where do we begin - from the pile of vomit outside the hotel entrance to being welcomed by a building site in the reception area..... yes it was that bad!!! OK, they apologise in advance that they are undergoing renovation work but renovating ??? They should knock it down and start again.... it is a health hazard. The hotel seems... More

Thank you for your review. It seems that this guest has fabricated some of the facts and also stretched some of the truth in terms of their stay at the hotel recently. The review previous to this clearly shows a guest own pictures of the rooms and their pleasant experience of their stay. This guest stayed at the same time... More

This hotel is a joke. It is not 2 stars, may be a 1 if lucky. I booked this hotel for a business stay as it was close to the location where the meeting was being held. However all the carpets were fraying, some were being held together by tape. My room was at the top of hotel which is... More

This guest decided to not stay in the Hotel and we were happy to waive the late cancellation charge even though it was for 2 seperate rooms. We think it's unfair that they feel the need to leave a review for a hotel that they did not even stay in. They didn't allow us to offer an exchange of rooms... More

You certainly get what you pay for when staying at this hotel (I use the term loosely!). It certainly is very convenient to all the central London attractions but do not expect anything resembling basic hotel standards from this 2 star (joke) hotel. We stayed as a family for a long weekend. We had to ring for someone to come... More
