On arrival, quick check-in. Location fantastic..nice from the outside, and the inside,...until you get to the lift...only one and it takes an age to get to call and then bumps more than mr bump. After 9am, the cleaneres use the lifts....so i spent ages waiting for the lift to go up and down. On the 4th floor, nice room, double-glazed,... More

My friend and I spent 3 nights at the Montana hotel in June 2011. We expected the usual "rabbit hutch" sized room that is the norm for budget - moderate hotels in central London but were very pleasantly surprised to find our twin room quite spacious. The bathroom was also a reasonable size and had the luxury of a bath... More

During my parents first trip to visit London we booked rooms here for a weekend in November to show them how wonderful London was, unfortunately we picked the worst hotel. The rooms were absolutely awful. No toiletries offered except for a small bar of hand soap and one roll of toilet paper. There was a step up into the bathroom... More

After being turned away from a disgusting hotel because they said it had been cancelled.. we were stranded in London. 4 of us with theatre tickets for that night and coach tickets for the next day. First trip to London,England........Three guys in are late 30's from Montreal on vacation for seven days. From October 17,2011 to October 24,2011 Airport to Hotel: We landed at Gatwick airport.....From the airport we took the Gatwick Express train to Victoria station which took about 30-35 min. I suggest to take the Anytime Return ticket. It cost £30.80 per person but... More

I stayed here with my 3 young daughters from Nov 19 -22nd. When choosing a location several things were very important to me: cost needed to be reasonable, location to the subway needed to be very close, and we wanted to be close to the Victoria area of London. The Montana Hotel was the best choice for us - after... More

Lovely Hotel. Not flash or luxury, but really comfy, clean & friendly. Excellent location, across the road from tube station & a 10 minute walk to Hyde Park, Harrods, Natural History Museum & Albert Hall. Free Wi Fi. Nice breakfast. Enjoyed it. More

Superb location for Natural History Museum - friendly and very helpful reception staff - breakfast better than expected. Excellent family room (for 4) - suited us v well to get three beds. Just a minor point but it would have been good to have got a bath mat and extra toiletries. More
