I came London to attend the winter meeting of British thoracic society at queen Elizabeth conference center ,west minister and due to convenience of transport ,stayed at custom house hotel,as the DLR station is opposite the door of hotel .but after my staying overall satisfaction is excellent by decoration, cost and staff attitude. Stayed overnight October while attending conference there. Theme seems to be modelling on a shipp ie bathroom just like 9and as slmall as that onboard a ship and some stairways like gang ways. Stayed four nights, convenient for public transport and just across the road from the Excel. Room basic but very clean, good TV stations available. A reasonably priced hotel, very close to Custom House DLR station, very convenient for travel into central London. More

We got the rooms very cheap, and so for the price it was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. It's a very good location right opposite the dlr and excel. We stayed one night at the Custom House Hotel. Very close to the DLR station but quite a long trip into central London. The room was clean but quite small. The bathroom only just big enough to stand in i.e. difficult to dry yourself once you step out of the shower, but clean. Good TV in the room including Sky.... More

This hotel is fairly basic and middle of the road but that is what you would expect form a conference hotel pretty much to accomodate people from the nearby Excel centre. This is possibly the worst London hotel I have stayed in. Good points: very close to the DLR. Beds just about OK although the bedding was cheap and I'll fitting. Bad points: small bedroom, tiny wardrobe area, very poor quality breakfast with stale croissants and reconstituted juice, small thin towels.
