Wonderful location.. only a few minutes walk from the russel square tube station. The hotel is close to the british library, dickens museum, and other attractions. The hotel is exactly as we expected.. small room and shared bathroom, but we really can't complain. We had clean towels, serviced room, and a good breakfast every day. If you want your own... More

can't belive some of the reviews given to this hotel!!! yes its basic but its location is superb. It's a bit shabby but comfortable food is good and the staff helpful. Bag can be left all day after checking in or out at a rate of 50p per bag. If people want more then PAY FOR IT . Will certainly... More

For the price I paid online, this hotel was an excellent choice. Just across the road from Euston station, yet reasonably quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice breakfast buffet included in the price. The room was certainly basic, but it was quiet and had a basin, small closet, TV, kettle with tea & coffee, a phone and towels. The single... More

It's impossible to get away from the fact that The County is a budget hotel. The decor is a little shabby and outdated, but the rooms are warm, clean and spacious. Although the rooms aren't ensuite, there are four toliets, two showers and a bath to every four bedrooms so you're not sharing with a large amount of people and... More

I absolutely love the County, I've stayed here many times and I always have a great time. My favourite things are the price (so cheap for central London!), the breakfast (all you can eat for no extra cost if you book through the Imperial Hotels website), the location (5 minutes from Euston) and the fact that the bath runs in... First ( and last) experience of a budget hotel, never again. Had a twin room for daughter and myself, bed was lumpy, sheets and towels thin, Room needed a good clean and a refurb, TV was old fashioned very small, no remote. Tea & coffee supplied were awful, I went out and bought my own! I knew it was sharing... More

I am so happy this place exists. I have vacationed about once a year for the last couple of decades in London and before that came to London as a student. I am now in my sixties and find that as the years go by I am being priced out of London. I started to regularly holiday in England because... More

I've been using the County for years, but only when I'm paying for myself rather than on expenses. It's superb value for money if you consider that it's near Euston and a very short walk away from the same amenities you'd use if you were paying three times the price at the Mercure or Holiday Inn. And if you're really... More

There's a reason why this hotel is half the price of others nearby. It's horrible. I booked a single. It was not on-suite. No one said. No one could say. The girl at reception hardly spoke English. The lighting in the room was simply strip lights with no covers (dangerous). I was kept awake for most of the night by... More

I've been using The County (Imperial London Hotels) for over 40 years and, until now (Nov 2012) have been satisfied with the value for money. No more. First room had no hot water and WC down the hall was flooded. Second room had no heat and hotel could not fix. Third room was finally acceptable. NO internet from Friday until... More
