We stayed for 3 nights, really friendly staff, great location, small rooms but everything was there. Yes,the rooms are small but the beds were comfy. Our wet room too was a bit of a pain as after a shower the whole area flooded. The staff said they were aware of this problem. Overall, a great place to stay for a short break in London,right... More

Recently stayed for a theatre break weekend at the z hotel and it was a fantastic location. On first impression, you would not think it is a hotel as there is a small bar area at the front with a narrow corridor leading out to the back, but don't let this fool you or put you off. On the forst... More

This hotel is an oasis in the heart of the city, service is very attentive, speak several languages and are the most friendly I've seen in London. The location is superb, it's all beside, gives pleasure to stay in the center: theaters, Covent Garden, Chinatown, Soho ... Yes it is true that the rooms are very small, perhaps because it's... More

Yep, as everyone observes, the rooms are small and the location is superb. Although we did struggle with the room size a little, the place had friendly staff and a sort of backpacker feel which made it a fun place to stay. The rooms were clean and we didn't have any problems like water from the shower flooding the room,... More

Most people have already commented on the brilliant location and the small size of the rooms. The price, for when we stayed, was the cheapest I could fine on the Internet in this location. There are one or two things that could be improved and would make the room more user friendly. There is no wardrobe which was fine but... More

The location is absolutely fantastic!! Soho is right at your doorstep and it doesn't get any more central in London than this. It's no more than a 3 minute walj to Leicester Square station. The rooms are up to date and very clean. They are really tiny thOugh. I've got a room with a queen sized bed and it takes... More

Perfect place for a night or two in central London. Everything you might want. Don't be put off by people saying the rooms are too small. This is a place to sleep and the beds are very comfortable and it's all clean and tidy and very helpful staff. Nice things like complimentary wine and cheese before you go out and... More

You expect a small hotel and small rooms and you still can't avoid laughing when you understand the true meaning of "small". I mean litterally laughing! So what? The location is just too perfect to worry about size. You are just in the middle of the theatres, leicester square, chinatown, 4 min from piccadilly circus, 5 minutes from covent garden...all... I am used to 'compact hotels' as I often stayed at Tune Hotels. What shall one say about Z hotel? For 180 pounds a night: Standard room - I was actually surprised by the size. U could actually comfortably place your suitcases there and u even had a little bit of room to 'go around'. The bed is too short,... More

Older couple reserved a compact inside room with booking.com...well...not prepared for the COMPACT concept. My mom started literally crying. We are not used to those tiny rooms nowhere in America. But after talking to Becky (manager) and Dominique, we must say THANK YOU so much for the great service and how helpfull they were. They were moved to a bigger... More
