Food and staff is great. Reasonably priced menu. Many classic English favorites. We had cottage and meat pies. They also have rooms for rent above the pub, but we did not stay here. Wide range of ales and beers. We will eat here again when we are back in April.

We did not stay at the hotel though it clearly is in an excellent central location,just steps from the Paddington Train Station, but we did eat at the pub. Stayed here for four nights and loved it. Great value and we paid for an extra two beds to get the whole room to ourselves – and it was still cheaper than anywhere else we found. This hotel is a 100% value for money, close to the underground paddington station and close to Hyde park. Also a great pub with great food and drinks! Warmly recommended for all travelers. The beds are clean and since I stayed in a double room on the off-street side of the building it was very quiet.

Stayed 15 days at Pride of Paddington, overall the hostel is awesome, clean and comfy rooms, bathroom is not inside the bedroom but very close very good service, waitresses and receptionists are very friendly, breakfast is for free and delicious, there are lots of fast food restaurants and markets nearby, Paddington Station is very close, Hide Park and Oxford Street... Overall this hostel was awesome. Clean rooms, pretty good service, clean bathrooms and a convenient location. My one compliant would be that it was extremely noisy at night. You could hear trains, police cars, people and the construction (that seemed to go all night long) fairly clearly from our room. It wasn't a huge issue as we were so tired... More

I stayed at week at the Pride of Paddington, and overall it wasn't a bad experience. The beds are super comfy, the food is delicious and the location is fantastic! I stayed in Room 1 which I was later told by another traveler that it is the best room to stay in....mainly because there is a bathroom and toilet joined... More

GO, NO RUN, ANYWHERE ELSE! They overbooked a Sat night stay & threw me out on the street at 9:30 PM with 20 pounds for a taxi & the adresss of another hostel 20 minutes away. Totally unprofessional, very little in the way of apology, & absolutely horrible reservation system when they don't know their overbooked until you show up.

As advertised: comfy beds, friendly food and tasty staff! Staff, especifically, was awesome and very, very helpful, especially Ms Faye. English breakfast included is great. Location is also a plus, close to Paddington station, Sainsbury, Tesco, and Hyde Park. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Has a common room with TV and very decent books if you need some time relaxing.
