I experienced this hotel over a weekend so I don't think it is representative of what it is like on the weekday when there are lots of business travelers. The room was a little dark but very cool and comfortable and I loved the bath products. I didn't use many of the many ammenities that the hotel has to offer... more

This is an impeccably kept hotel, with some great features in the building. It's in the business district so you will get better rates at the weekend and it's close enough to the major attractions to still be convenient. Only downside, the restuarant is closed at weekends (but very good alternatives recommended). Katrina was great about making our wedding anniversary... more

Stayed here with my wife as a birthday treat for her. We were given a double upgrade to a suite which was amazing. Staff had put a card and chocolates in the room with petals on the bed......made to feel very special!!!! more

Spending the night at this hotel was one of the best decisions me and my husband have made. The only problem we had was finding the hotel, the exterior is quite discreet. The service upon arrival was very welcoming and the room was bigger then expected. The view wasn't great, but didn't spoil the night. Having room service available 24... more

We stayed here mid-way through our honeymoon before we travelled up to Scotland. I met my wife here on a Saturday for a one night stay after she'd been to a conference in the city and I was able to leave the kids with the grand parents. We ended up getting a romantic package for the weekend. They managed to upgrade our room from an executive to a suite. It was absolutely amazing! The rooms are lush and the breakfast was amazing. They had classical music on the radio when we walked in! more

Stayed at Threadneedles twice now and each occasion had a really great stay. Attentive staff, good size rooms and amenities. The bed was large and comfortable pillows and duvets. Also, the housekeeping staff had noticed that it was our anniversary, and rose petalled the whole room and bathroom when we returned. Only downside is of course it's in the centre... more

We stayed on our wedding night & found petals scattered around, chocolates & a card - all from hotel !!!! what a place, great location in the city - especially weekends - no office workers around ! rooms are really well appointed, the main reception / lobby is knockout, staff are tremendous very courteous & friendly - not at all... more
