Huge hotel, tiny rooms though, no room wifi, breakfast was pretty poor, air con didn't work. But was good location and fairly quiet. The beds were very uncomfortable. Would recommend other hotels in the area if possible, the imperial is just down the road and much nicer.

Have just stayed at this hotel and was really rather concerned due to the reviews. As it turned out the staff were all helpful and our twin room was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and our English breakfast was great. This hotel provided everything we needed for our brief stay in central London.

We were at this hotel at end of april 2013. This hotel is very big "colosseum". Room was quite clean and ok, but I dont know if I have ever been more unfriendly hotel . Breakfast was only toast, juice and coffee. Location is the only good thing in this hotel. Lobbyes were very grouded by students with very big... More

Stayed at a twin room. Wasn't the biggest room I've seen but it was enough for two people with a suitcase each. At first I admit I was a bit hesitant staying here with my class due to the reviews here on Tripadvisor, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were nice and welcoming (the ones working at the opposite... More

This is a good place to stay especially if going on a Contiki. It is really close to the tube and bus tour departure points. Its cheap and not fancy but good enough, especially if on a budget. However, the concierge staff are the rudest and most unhelpful i have ever come across. In my experience concierge staff are supposed... More

I stayed at the Royal National Hotel post accommodation from a Contiki Tour. I booked a twin share room under the impression I would be sharing with someone of the same sex from my tour. I walked into my room to find someone completely random of the opposite sex (and not on my tour). I did not feel safe leaving... More

We purchased our room on Hotwire for about 90 dollars a night making this a great deal! The hotel is pretty ugly - think of an entired block filled with a 5 story building containing nothing but rooms. Apparently over 3000 people can spend the night here. The rooms are clean and spacious, bathrooms are surprisingly nice. Breakfast was included... More

This hotel was centrally situated not too far from Covent Garden. A five minute bus ride to Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. It is a large hotel with a north and south buildings. We were located in the south building with room overlooking the square which unfortunately was rather noisy at night as there is a bub located... I stayed only one night with my 3yr old son. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. Central location and the reception staff were kind and playful with my kid with was nice. This was a free stay paid for by GOSH so I can't comment on value. Not the best but nothing to complain about.
