We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a conference and it was just great. the rooms were quite compact, but had everything that we needed. The location is great and the area is nice a quiet (even when I had my window open overnight). There is no breakfast, but you can pick up a coffee/pastry just around the corner. More

This is my fourth stay at the Fielding. The rooms have been renovated since my last visit and they now have a/c just in case the weather turns hot (lucky you if it does!). They can be on the small side, but how much time do you want to spend in your room anyway when you are in London? Everything... More

5Anonymous May 4, 2012 Location is good as very central for theatres. We were very disappointed at the quality of the hotel and dont feel it was a boutique hotel as we were led to believe from the description. When we booked in the reception said we'd been moved up to a suite instead of twin room. Disappointed to find... More

Dear guest, we are sorry you were disappointed with your stay with us as we greatly value all of our customer comments. The double with sitting room is often a very popular choice as it offers more space but we do have plans to upgrade the furniture. After much research we have opted for firm beds as they seem to... The Fielding is in such a fantastic location, a minutes walk from Covent Garden and all the shops, bars, restaurants etc, and only a few minutes walk from Leicester Square and more of London's attractions. Close to London transport links too in the form of tube stations (Covent Garden, Leicester Sq, Holborn, Charing Cross etc.) and bus links. The hotel... More

I come from Germany and this was the first time I visit London. This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. Outside there is a pedestrian road where late at night a lot of drunken people are gathering, coming from the nearby bars. Once one of them started saying bad words to us and we rushed... More

This is a bogus review. No one has reported such an incident. The wording of this bogus review is similar to one placed recently. And once again the culprit has only ever placed one review on Trip adviser. More

We loved our stay at the Fielding! A friend recommended the hotel after they stayed recently and we weren't disappointed. The location is perfect. Right in the middle of town, walking distance to every shop, restaurant, bar and theatre you could possibly want. We booked in for 7 days while in London on business and even found time to visit... Great little hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location on a pedestrian street, comfortable room with all the amenities. No bar or restaurant, but that was no problem -- plenty of breakfast places nearby. Highly recommend! More

I'm always bemused when most customers say 'excellent, quiet and friendly' and some person then finds it 'unfriendly, noisy and feels unsafe'. Just to be clear we're in the first group. Just for calibration, we've stayed in London about 6 times a year for 15 years and stayed in about 20+ different hotels. Although the hotel looks deceptively small from... More

We had often passed this hotel on our way to the opera at Covent Garden but this time we decided to stay there. What a treat - a very warm welcome and pleasing entrance. Our room was at the back on the second floor with steps down to a desk area and shower room. All very clean and tastefully decorated -... More

This hotel charges way too much of what it actually offers. Very basic hotel with small rooms and indifferent staff. ok the location is central but when you spend a considerable amount of money you expect something nice and relaxing. One night two drunk people were outside the hotel shouting. Personally I found its ver unsafe. Stay away from this... More
