Cartref House provided us with a well sized twin room (actually double and single beds) with a spotlessly clean ensuite shower room. The room was fresh and airy and both beds were very comfortable. Convenient location to Victoria Station, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace etc. Nice upscale residential neighborhood with upscale only(?) dining choices. Derek is a good host. Good breakfasts. Room was up several flights of steep, narrow stairs. Tiny room, tinier bath, functional bed, sloping floors, clean. Adequate as a home base. Needs updating.
