My wife booked Hazlitts with tickets for a show and a jazz lunch at Ronnie Scotts for my Christmas present. We had stayed at Hazlitts previously and had loved it so I was very impressed with her choice. Hazlitts is in an almost perfect location in Soho. Just far enough from too much noise but close enough to be within... More

This is now a Mr & Mrs Smith hotel which bodes well. The description is of a "quirky" hotel in Soho, which it certainly is. It has it's charming side but the staff are not particularly friendly which is odd in this sort of hotel. Our very small room was unbearably hot; there was a leak in the bathroom from... More

The location of Hazlitt´s is perfect, neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet and yet you are near the centre. The hotel is very charming, full of antique paintings, furnitures etc. Every room is personal and has own name, we have never visited this kind of hotel even though we have travelled round the world. The breakfast service was something special and... More

If Hazlitt's were a drink, it would be a well aged scotch. Created many years ago and taken care of by the owners to preserve it's character, this hotel makes you feel warm and welcome. I've stayed here probably three times and each time experienced a different room. Each room is unique, preserved or remodeled to enhance the stone, brick,... More

We've stayed at Hazlitt's twice. On the night of our 25th anniversary (May 2010), we went the whole hog and booked the two-storey Duke of Monmouth suite, with its eagle-head bath, upstairs lounge and private rooftop courtyard with retractable see-through sun roof. For a romantic special occasion, it suited us perfectly. We returned last weekend, staying one night in the... More

I stayed at Hazlitts as it is very close to my office and I had a party to go to. The hotel is warm and welcoming. The room I had (Gregory King) was in the basement at the front of the hotel. I really didn't have any problem with noise even though the room is directly on Frith Street. The... More

We booked into our long time favourite hotel for a birthday trip to the big City. Some improvements to the reception layout, but less than helpful response to whether there was tea making facilities in the room, of 'No, and we never did.' The rooms are authentic 19th Century, right down to the plumbing. The night was ruined by the... More

Just come back from a two day stay in the Duke of Monmouth room at Hazlitts. Saw the pictures on the Internet and couldn't believe that the room would live up to expectation. However I was totally wrong. It is quite remarkable. The hotel as a whole is very cosy and welcoming. But the Monmouth room is something else. As... More

My partner and I just returned from four nights in Hazlitt's. We had a superior double and it was quite spacious and very comfortable for two, the decor is plush. As there are only 30 rooms in the hotel, the service is very personal. THe location is briliant, you are a five minute walk to Oxford Street for shopping. Trafalgar... More

My husband treated myself and our 6 year old daughter to a night at this wonderful hotel. It is small, giving a relaxed feel, with an understated charm. It comprises of only 30 rooms, ours was a reasonable size for a boutique hotel. It certainly felt a touch of luxury with quality bed linen and soft furnishings. Although not a... More
