we were dreading going having read some of the negative reviews on this site. However on arrival found the staff very friendly and accommodating. we went to our room and I promptly inspected the bed. The Linen was clean and so were the rooms.you could make a list of minor petty faults like there was a gap under the door... More

Bit dubious after reading reviews, however, my view was we were only staying for 1 night for a theatre break. We arrived in London early and found the hotel. Reception welcoming and helpful. Asked if we could use the luggage room for our bags, the helpful receptionist checked our booking and said our room was available. We found the room... More

when we arrived we waited 10 mins to speak to someone in reception to check in. The rooms are very small and the bathroom even smaller. The shower only worked when it wanted to. We had scaffolding outside our window so no outside light was coming in. I stayed here with my family. The breakfast was disgusting and only one... More

13 of us stayed here on a hen weekend, all our rooms were clean and tidy, which after reading some reviews on here i was suprised at, staff were friendly, and the young man on reception was very helpful, there are some good places to eat just around the corner and the pub at the end of the road is... I stayed at this hotel as a birthday treat while taking in a west end show. The hotel itself was fine. It was clean, convenient location for travel and the room was comfortable and had all that was required for our one night stay. The only downside was during breakfast, the staff member who was maintaining the food service area... More

I have stayed at this hotel in the past. It was ok then but certainly nothing speicial. First time back for nearly a year or so. The hotel has gone through some significant changes since my last visit. The communal areas have gone though a significant upgrade. The lobby and breakfast area is now vastly improved and the rooms seem... More

This was a good, albeit average hotel. I don't mean that to be demeaning, I just mean that as a hotel it is very much an average West end hotel in the budget bracket. It does not have a bar or room service, the rooms are basic but comfortable, the environment clean and warm but not luxurious. My room (503)... More

I dont quite understand all the negative reviews re this hotel. I stayed here at the beginning and end of a trip to the UK along with my American friends (end Dec & beg Jan). I found the reception helpful and cheery, the rooms, small but comfortable and clean, the breakfast was wonderful and the surrounding area of Bayswater is... More

We booked this hotel through superbreak as part of a theatre hotel package, and it was an excellent choice in a very good area. The hotel I understand has gone through a refurbishment recently and the rooms were nicely presented, only one small criticism, a quilt/bedcover would have been a welcome addition for the bed, only a sheet and blanket...
