The rooms are small but cozy. The staff are friendly. The room was very clean. The staff made arrangements for us to participate in a bus tour to Windsor Castle, Bath and StoneHenge. We had a great day seeing the sites. We bought passes to go on the big bus tour just around the corner and had a great time... More

Guess the price and size of the room are normal for London. This has been the most expensive BW I have bin. Being a good BW customer I got an upgrade for my room. This "upgrade" was a room of about 4 square meters. It was smaller than my bathroom at home. Makes me wonder what size the "regular" room... More

This was a terrible hotel. Like something from a bad dream. Our room downstairs from the lobby, down a steep narrow walkway, OUTSIDE across an uncovered atrium and then into the room. The room itself smelt and was musty, dusty and nasty. The bathroom was 100% impossible to fit two people in. I would say about 3ft by 4ft. Insane.... More

This hotel is very nice. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night for a concert in Hyde park. We were early on arrival and the lovely front of house staff allowed us to store our bags safely. They also gave us directions to the local amenities so we could get some lunch. On our return, the room was... More

For a central London hotel so close to a tube stop it is great location. Expensive but by London standards, good value. Stayed in a single room for 4 nights on business. Room was very small and basic. Window wouldn't close properly and was single pane glass, so in December let in a bad draught, and also very load. Bed... More

I'd stayed here on a couple of previous occassions and although the rooms are tiny and breakfast pretty basic, the location made up for that. But not this time. Maybe it's the tough economic times, but everything felt a bit mean. The bath towels were miniscule, you'd be hard pressed to dry a hamster. I cracked one of the plastic... More

I've stayed here many times and this review is for my most recent visit - November 2011. The hotel is one of many older, boutique hotels located along Sussex Gardens, just a few minutes walk from Paddington Station. Overall, the staff is pleasant and helpful, and the hotel, for the most part, is in decent repair. As with older, London... More

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The location is very convenient, close to Paddington station, with good access to from the Heathrow express, trains and tube. There are some decent restaurants nearby. The last time I stayed there, I booked a single room. It was very tiny but cozy and comfortable, and had everything I needed. The... More

I have bittersweet feelings about this hotel.  We stayed there twice during our recent trip to the UK and it was completely different each time. First, we arrived to spend 3 nights in London and all was smooth and easy. We were offered an early check-in and got a renovated, nicely furnished and very quiet room (no. 12 on the ground... More

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Paddgton Express, and the tube. Rooms are small (to be expected in London). Breakfast is good - staff helpful. Good location - walk to 5 pubs and some good take aways, and a Tesco. Would recommend. More
