My daughter booked afternoon tea with champagne as a birthday surprise. The room is lovely, with lots of interesting photographs and cosy traditional decor. Only the food and room size let it down. The classic double room was tiny. We upgraded to a 2 br suite which was fine. Room service was very average. Breakfast was painfully slow some days. U cant beat the location, decor, service. More

This hotel has a relaxed homely feel with open fires, wooden panels and large comfy sofas in the reception area. Yet it's a few minutes walk from Selfridges on Oxford street. The staff were efficient and friendy. The room was a touch shabby but this added to it's charm and the bed was comfortable. More
