The price may not be worth the quality of rooms, but I think that's the same anywhere in London. The hotel is located in a nice and clean part of the city. We enjoyed walking around, and admiring the beautiful English houses and looking for a good restaurant (for example the Italian "Olive" restaurant of the Millenium Bailey's hotel at... More

We checked in in to this hotel midway through our London stay because the hot water in our apartment was not working. The hotel was within walking distance from Gloucester Rd Station in a very quiet and safe neighborhood with many amenities nearby ( Waitrose, pubs, restaurants etc ) We paid 125 GBP for a triple sharing room and (... I stayed there for 13 days in February, 2011. I had a nice time there. The hotel is well located, in a quiet street, close to Gloucester Road Tube Station, Waitrose and some restaurants. The breakfast (included in the price) was ok, not the best of my life, but not the worst one. Coffe, tea, toasts and jam. Unfortunately the... More

Make sure to ask for a room to the back, we were in the front for the first night and got no sleep at all. The staff were lovely and very helpful they moved us the minute we asked. To be honest the hotel is a bit of a warren, but you get what you pay for. The breakfast was... More

London seems in a class by itself when it comes to a hotel. Either they are not good or very expensive, this hotel fits somewhat into that category. When I arrived and was checking in a couple came to the desk and requested a room change as their room was "not acceptable"(not sure what the issue was). The woman at... More

I've been going there for a long while. It has never been a great hotel, but it was cheap. However the quality has been deteriorating month after month. Very very dirty. The carpet is covered with dust and hairs. Mattress are very very very uncomfortable. Blankets are dirty. The cleaning lady does never make the bed properly....you can see that... More

We booked on the hotel site for 2 adults and 2 children. An email is the room would be big enough for 4 was not answered. When we... More

Having previously spent a night in a truly appalling hotel for the same rate just a couple of miles away, we weren't expecting too much for our money and so were pleasantly surprised by the Cranley Gardens Hotel. Our room was a reasonable size and had everything we needed for our stay. Staff on the front desk were very helpful... More

I stayed here almost 3 weeks ago for 2 nights, and that was more than enough for me. When checking in, the man at the reception was rude and impatient, which was a very bad start (although I have to say the other members of staff were much nicer). There was a balcony, which i was pleasantly surprised by, until... More
