Reasonable cost for a nice London hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. We had a family room that was large enough for two adults and two teens. The hotel is built from a block of victorian homes, so the rooms and corridors are attractively old, but nothing in the place is shabby. Great access to the Underground (about a half... More

Thank you Radisson Vanderbilt, we spent 3 unforgettable nights at your hotel. This is a very familiar hotel.Everyone knows you after a day and they remember you all the time. Everyone is smiling at you and they always help you, not just try to do that. The room was also excellent, master bed and a lot of space in the... More

We stayed here with a group of friends, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit chilly couldn't seem to get the heating to work although didn't get time to call anyone about it. bathroom tiny, had to sit on the toilet sideways as the sink and the proximity to the wall meant you couldn't... I stayed here in May 2011 for a whole week, having booked a single room. The first room they took me to appeared to be a cupboard with a single bed crammed into it - i was exhausted after a long flight and hauling my luggage through all the hallways and stairs but went down and asked for something bigger.... The staff were lovely and very attentive and it was a nice room. Sadly the heating and the towel rail were not working on the coldest night of the year and while the housekeeper brought a secondary heater immediatly it was inadequate for the room. There was a flimsy open vent in the low celing from which a cold breeze... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week just before Christmas with some colleagues. The hotel is nicely presented from the outside and the lobby and bar are very stylish. The lift is incredibly slow and very small, and the hotel corridors very narrow and dark, because it is a terrace of houses it is a bit of a warren... More

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On the one hand, the staff are fabulous. On the other, the rooms are very small, old and in desperate need of updating/modernising. Location-wise it is just about perfect. Close to local amenities (Waitrose - yay!) and restaurants, and a very short walk to the Gloucester Rd tube. I know this is old... More

I stayed here for one night when I visited London on business. I'd say that my stay was pretty good on the whole, and here's why; - The room wasn't large but it was was adequate, having a desk and a small table. Although the bed was pretty comfortable I found it difficult to get off to sleep. There was... More

Terrible bed. Maze of hallways. Way too many stairs. And yes...as others have mentioned...cold, dirty, torn wallpaper, housekeeping called the room dispite the fact I had a "Do Not Disturb" on the door, and I had just checked in after a long flight. Location is OK, depending on what you want to be close too. Great Concierge named Kris. Not... More

We have just returned from a one night stay at the 'Vanderbilt' in London. The location is ideal for Royal Albert Hall, Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace, etc. We booked a 'King Deluxe Room'. It came with a 'deluxe drinks package', a free movie and 25% off dinner in the restaurant. We requested a... More
