I stayed here as it was convenient for work and travelling on via Waterloo. I've stayed before so knew what to expect - small room, tiny tv, paper thin walls, long waits at check-in and for lifts, hard beds, thin pillows, crunchy towels and bad lighting.

Perfect location, less than 2 minutes walk from Russell Square underground station and 10 minutes to Euston under/overground. Rooms were standard hotel-rooms, but good. The English breakfast was great. It was included when the room was booked through Imperial Hotels own website/reception. Continental was included for everyone else, and you could upgrade to English breakfast for around £5 per person.... More

You get for what you pay for with this hotel. The location is great but don't expect luxuries. It's a big hotel with 500 rooms plus and so you don't get excellent service, but on the other hand we had no complaints (apart from a cold breakfast and having to share a table with other guests.

stayed at the president as part of a theatre ticket package, arrived around lunch time and unexpectedly were able to get into our room straight away.
