Lovely hotel with old school luxury which means comfortable rooms rather than the minimalism that passes for 5 star in some hotels. Stayed there twice recently and, as well as very nice staff, the room service food menu is thankfully more imaginative than you would usually expect. More

The Langham is perfectly situated, and the hotel itself is everyone could ask for. Our "standard" room was lovely, with all the 5 star touches. As soon as we arrived the gracious way we were dealt with from car door closing to the bags arriving in our room within 5 minutes was a statement of all round quality that this hotel has in every area. From the minute of arrival you cannot help but be impressed by the grandeur of the Langham. The staff are incredibly efficient and courteous. We had a club suite which was a beautiful large room with the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. We have stayed here a number of times before but this was our first visit since the re-openning. The hotel now has a 'big' hotel feel and although it is luxurious it has lost something. Just had the one night here but it was quite possibly the best nights sleep of our 6 week holiday. Big comfortable bed and so blissfully quiet! Hope to have an extended stay at some stage in the future to make better use of the facilities. More
