Our stay at Fleet River Rooms was exceptional. Spacious accommodations with a full kitchen. Staff gave us a bottle of wine, as they figured out who had not vacated on time, a mere 10 minute wait or so. Breakfast was superb. Wonderfully located in the theater district, half a block from the Tube Holborn Tube station and walking distance to... More

We had looked to here before but they were fully booked. So when I was looking ahead I booked up for my Wife's Birthday. The rooms are in a great position, close to Covent Garden and easy walk to Trafalgar Square. We had a great stay and the Breakfast is amazing and if you like coffee then you are in... More

We usually stay at Premier Inn when visiting London. Not anymore the Fleet river rooms are the place to stay. The rooms are self-contained with all the provisions you need. The rooms are centrally located with easy access to Holborn tube station, Oxford Street and the Theatres close by. The apartments are all well-furnished and tastefully decorated. The rooms are... It was lovely to stay here and not have to jump on a train after the theatre. The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk from Covent Garden, theatres, British Museum and everything else we wanted to see. The breakfasts are great, and kept us going all day. Lovely big room and comfy bed and amazingly quiet for central... More

My wife and I stayed here for six nights in mid-April. We hadn't been to London in several years and were eager to visit it again. We really liked the Fleet River Rooms a great deal...its location, being a part of the Fleet River Café, and especially Lucy and her terrific staff. The arrangement between the inn and café allow... We had a two night stay here and liked the immaculate room, the generous breakfasts and the central location. I agree with an earlier reviewer that the room was dark but adjusting the blinds sorted it. The location is lovely- the only drawback is that it is very expensive to park nearby. Next time we'll leave the car at home.... More

I chanced upon Fleet River Rooms after reading a review of it on the Guardian some time ago. When planning for my trip to London, I quickly checked Fleet River to see if they had any available rooms. However, based on my original travel schedule, the rooms were all fully booked. A couple of days later when I decided to... More

This is a great alternative to staying in a hotel or a more conventional guest house and the price makes it even more attractive, especially given that you get your choice of breakfast in the bakery downstairs every morning. The location is just off Kingsway, a minute from Holborn tube but in a quiet pedestrian-only street, and ideal for walking... More

This is a very stylish B and B beside Holborn underground station. From here it is possible to walk to St Paul's Cathedral, Covent Garden and even Euston Station. The staff at the bakery were very helpful and the breakfast is amazing. Despite being so central it is very quiet at night. There were a few problems with the heating... More

Although I did not meet the owners, my guess is that they are not greedy and understand the need for comfortable, stylish and yet sensibly priced accommodation in central London. Full marks to them for their principles . It is a large, well-appointed, quite stylishly furnished (it felt a little like a NYC art deco loft), however the heating leaves... More
