The Captain Bligh house offers great accommodations at very reasonable price in an ideal location. While not really a bed and breakfast, each apartment has a complete kitchenette which is stocked with enough supplies (bread, cereal, jams, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea) for a couple day's basic breakfasts. There are a couple of small markets within a few blocks... More

There's a reason everyone gives Captain Bligh great reviews. It's so well located - the tube station is a five minute walk away and Big Ben/Parliament/Westminster is a 10 minute walk away. If you're an independent traveler and like to cook, staying in one of their flats is just the ticket - you can't do better in central-ish London for... More

For future guests - We want to keep our prices down and not pass on the added expense of having the credit card system ourselves, but many of our guests do pay by credit card via Paypal. Unfortunately, this young couple arrived to their holiday apartment with no money at all, and their bank would only allow £100 between them... More

Great accommodations, great location! We had the apartment at this facility and loved it. There was a welcome package of assorted food stuffs to greet us, and we settled right in. Beds are comfortable, the rooms are bright, and it was the next best thing to home. The location is excellent for getting around London. Removed from the hectic centre,... More

Captain Bligh guest house leaves nothing to chance the rooms are well appointed, with just a tad over the top purple theme and a lot of Royal family decor, but that does not diminish the experience.....The kitchen has more than enough utensils to be a self contained unit....The fridge and cupboards were well stocked with food for us to use... Great location , warm friendly hosts , well kept and clean accommodation . Myself and my wife could not ask for more. Especially liked the themed decor and we are going to try another of their rooms on our return to London later in the year. Would definitely recommend to all . Stewart & Tracy Holding

Spend 6 days and 7 nights in London in the London Apartment. The apartment was spotless, well kept, in excellent working order and provided amenities beyond my expectations. The landlords are wonderful, welcoming and provide just the right balance of being avialable for questions and affording one the privacy you would expect when on holiday. This is my second time... We were in London for a mix of business and pleasure. Staying in the Film Studio was a joy. The space was innovatively arranged - so despite being one of the smaller suites available at Captain Bligh's it didn't feel crammed. The welcome we received was excellent, friendly and informative. We had anticipated the 'breakfast' provided being a couple of... More
