Ignore the bad reviews on here, I'm glad I did, me and the girlfriend booked on line, great price, arrived and greeted by Richard, given keys and asked about our breakfast needs, very helpful in telling us about where nightlife was, on arrival into room we were shocked, we booked a standard dbl room and that's what we got but... Room - We stayed in a superior double room which had a comfy bed and a spotless bathroom which is great because we're both clean freaks! Breakfast - Yummy! Variety of things to choose from. Stayed here for 2 days and had a very nice welcome from the owners Jeanette and Richard. We stayed in a double room which was very nice. The whole guest house is nicely decorated. Jeanette and Richard are a lovely couple had quite a few long chats with them. Breakfast was served quickly and it was very nice. I asked... More

Please do not waste your money here! This guest house is one of many we have stayed in, in Blackpool and this was our worst stay so far. The couple that run the guest house are extremely rude, obnoxious, unpleasant and act like you are an intruder in their home. The rooms that are advertised on their web-site are not... More

your whole argument was about the fact that you booked a double room and requested the superior double . the superior double was already booked so as you were told it was not possible to have that room. your room description at time of booking clearly stated that you may be allocated any room in the guest house as a... Really enjoyed our stay at heywood house. My children had their own room which was clean and had everything they needed. My wife and I had the room opposite and found it really cosy. The WIFI was free and allowed my son to find us the local VW dealer as we needed some oil for our car. Breakfast was good... More

Was not impressed from time I walked in Richard had no people skills what so ever. One comment he made was to say to an 8 year old he was small if he was 8 how very rude. Also refused our pregnant friend the use of the toilet as we had checked out this was the icing on the cake... More

My partner, son and I stayed at Heywood House for 3 nights with 2 other couples and their children. While we found the b&b clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast, I'm afraid none of us will be returning. We all found that Richard could be quite abrupt and rude. From the moment we arrived he wasn't very friendly or... More

you say your car was broken into outside our guest house but it was not, it was parked about four streets away . you then moved it to outside the guest house . if you had parked it outside our guest house i would have been able to help you with cctv images. i have spoke to blackpool police and...
