Dirty, small, basic rooms and the staff are not bothered. Went to watch the open golf, the place was a dreadful advert for UK hotels, if I were someone from another country this would put me off the UK for good. little parking for guests so you have to park across the road and get up early because of restrictions.... My friend booked 5 bedrooms for 10 of us for a night out....I ended up sharing tiny bed with friend which we thought was ridiculous as we should've had twin room. Two of the party complained and after an hour got moved to twin room...paying an extra tenner! (We didn't complain as had put stuff out in room & couldn't... More

Really warm and friendly hotel - lovely hosts and excellent, helpful staff. Absolute tardis of a hotel, comfortable and plenty to do if you wish to spend any time in the hotel. Missed out on the entertainment, would love to revisit when the caberet is in full swing, food and service excellent.

Spent a long weekend, the hotel is in a good location BUT it lacks any facilities, there is music blaring out in every public room so no quiet areas, the breakfst is good but the evening meal seems to be pre - cooked or out of packets/tins. Our room was adequate, respectably clean, but the blanket covering the bed had... More

To give this 1 out of 5 is a compliment! Dirty, small, basic rooms and the staff are rude (Honey). Over-charged us by double the prices, would not give the work men breakfast anytime before 8:30, said it 'wasn't her problem.' After much persuasion, said she would give the men an evening meal instead but would they said they would... More

We stayed for one night, myself, my partner and our 9 month old baby. There were restrictions on having a pushchair inside the hotel and no help with our luggage (with a 9 month old there is a lot of it). An extremely small lift. The hotel room was clean but small (could just about fit in the travel cot)... More
