16 members of my family went to stay at the hotel for a weekend. It was one of the best weekends we have ever had, the hotel is fantastic. Pat and Christine are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfast and evening meals are first class and amazing value for... More

This hotel based on my accommodation is definitely ok 3 star poor 4 star. I am not sure how the 4 star rating has been acheived and maintained! Our room was shabby with a strong smell of drains which was worse when you turned the shower on. The wardrobe smelt musty and the room was stuffy even with the window... More

I've rarely visited such a friendly and accommodating hotel, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel really welcome. We intend to return in the autumn. More

We were more than pleased with the value for money we got when staying at this hotel, it was clean, nicely furnished, warm and in a nice location with no outside noise. The only downside I could mention is the walk to the South Pier... More

This is our 4th stay since Pat & Christine took over The Collingwood Hotel, where at this hotel you are treated as a friend. Our room (no 11) on the 2nd floor was clean and spacious and the breakfasts cooked by Christine are excellent. It is also definitely worth buying a daily pass on the trams or a 3 or... More

We received a very warm welcome from Pat on arrival at the Collingwood. Our family room was on the second floor and was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area, only a few minutes away from the promenade. Trams are easily accessible but do buy a day pass on the tram, it will save you quite a... More
