This is the first time I have ever checked into a hotel where the manager barked at me "name". Usually you get a how can I help you madam or even a Hello but no the manager of this hotel was straight to the point and set the tone for the rest of stay. I'm no shrinking violet but even... more

The only good thing to come out of our trip was the first class service we got from the breakfast staff, and the food was good. The man at the reception was more like Basil as everything i asked him for was a problem, even to get a drink from the bar area was hard. I would suggest a good... more

I have never experienced a worse hotel, i went with my sons football team for the Blackpool football tourment, the room i was in (113) was suppose to be a family room, you could not swing a cat in it,there was no view apart from part of the hotels roof and shabby windows of the rooms opposite you, everyone else... more

Just back from the Glenshee hotel and found it okay. The rooms could have been better slightly shabby but found to be clean. The meals were very good and my friend whom is a vegetarian was well catered for. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Though the hotel is the other side of the pleasure beach found it... more

We booked this after we got what I thought was a great price around £600 for 2 adults 3 kids DB and B for 7 nights. Its advertised as a hotel and leisure club ?? On arrival the rooms we were given were on the 3rd floor(TOP) with 3 kids. The weather was very warm and due to NO air... more

This hotel was situated, as stated on it's website, past south pier, sandcastle and pleasure beach... probably about 10-15 minutes walk. which by Blackpool's standards is quite a distance to the nearest shops etc. There are no other amenities near this hotel, it is somewhat isolated. The breakfast were reasonable, everything was nice n hot. Breakfast service was good. The... more

My nephew was celebrating his 21st birthday there last November so we decided to stay over. Unlike some single rooms (or should I say cupboards) I have been in at other hotels my room was quite spacious. Very clean with more than adequate tea and coffee. My only complaint is that the TV was fixed too high up - had... more

I recently stopped at the Glenshee Hotel in Blackpool in room 105 and I must say that I was very disappointed with the entire experience. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and I could hear every noise that the neighbours on either side of us made. The flush from the toilets upstairs sent tremors through my bedroom walls and... more
