This place seems to get relative bad press, but what do you expect for £15 a night. We have stayed with Jimbo a number of times and the blokes an absolute legend, understands the youth of the day and accepts stag booking. Hes a loverly Scot and would recommend him. A group of us have just spent the weekend staying at above hotel. External appearance - run down. Internally-just as bad, horrible smell as we entered, carpets on landing loose. Only one en-suite room which we were fortunate to get!!!! Shower cubicle still had hairs in from last guest and needed a good scrub, cold water tap wouldn't turn off... more
