We arrived at the Hotel reception and were greeted by the manageress Karen we were immediately served tea and coffee in the lounge,and told to relax, while our bags were taken to our rooms. Our rooms were on the second floor easily accessible by the stairs or lift. We had four rooms in total all with wheelchair friendly bathrooms that... More

i have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and on each occasion the service has been fantastic,, im not disabled myself i go with my parents, they treat everyone with the utmost respect,, the staff are all helpful, its hard to pick out 1, looking at some of the bad reviews i find it difficult to believe they stayed... More

We stayed for two nights and witnessed two instances of extraordinary rude behaviour by the Hotel Manageress and the porter on call. Stay here if you like but steel yourself, good customer service is not to be expected. More

Just revisited the new Mayfair for the second time this year for a turkey and tinsel themed week, as last time the food was fantastic, the staff excellent and a good time was had by all, my disabled granddaughter was fascinated by Santa arriving and giving her a present. During our stay Gordon the night porter even washed some clothes... More

stayed from the 10th till 14th oct and the rooms were a disgrace i dont know how they can say its disable friendly i had no hand rails for toilet and none for in shower no shower seat no rail to help me get into bed whwn i complained i receivede a zimmer frame to help me in bathroom there... More

visited this hotel 4 the 2nd time this year last week and plan 2 visit again b 4 the end of the year,had a great time.Staff are welcoming,friendly and totally dedicated 2 makin your stay as comfortable as they can nothing is 2 much and they meet everyones needs fantastically.food,entertainment both top class,will certainly b visitin again!well done! More

our third time at the new mayfair our first under the new owners and everything was exellent all the staff were helpful, organised,courtious and frendly. the menu was fantastic every day and the food prepared 2 a very high standard and well balanced 2 suit everybodys tastes. our room was clean, warm, and well decorated, the equipment my wife needed... Just spent a fantastic week at the new Mayfair, what a change to go on holiday with my disabled father-inlaw and disabled grandaughter and come home feeling relaxed not stressed. My 6 year old grandaughter needs her food blending and this was not a problem at all plus she needs warm milk twice in the evening, long after the kitchen... More
