Booked half board with lake view for Friday and Saturday night nice welcome at reception given room 102 which had a lake view but be warned the hotel is not situated on the lake about 5/10 minute walk to lake although you cant fault the view and excellent location for walking distance to attractions. stayed one night. was advertised as a dog friendly hotel. well the only place the dogs could go was in the room, and the reception area. not even in the bar so we could have a meal with them. the only room service was a continental breakfast. certainly would not stay again

This was our 4th time at the Craig Manor...... do i need to say anymore. Recommend!! Each time we have stayed, we receive very warm welcome, all the staff are very attentive and accommodating. The general areas could do with a little refurbishment, but the rooms we have occupied have been in great condition.

Excellent stay in a very clean, welcoming and friendly hotel, food was excellent ( buffet breakfast, but best we've had). Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. We would definitely eat there again while just visiting Windermere, as restaurant is open to non residents
