We spent a lovely four day break at Cedar Manor in October. It felt like we were staying with friends in their wonderful house, yet Caroline and Jonathan always manage to maintain their professionalism. We've never been diappointed in a meal yet and this trip surpassed all previous! Look forward to returning next October, if not before! more

We stayed in Crinkle Crags for a 1 week honeymoon - what a beautiful room!. The service was second to none - nothing was too much trouble, Caroline and Jonathon were the perfect hosts. We had read the reviews on trip advisor on arrival at our B&B in windemere and thought cedar manor sounded great so rang to book a table. We had drinks in the bar before eating - Jonathan & Caroline were really welcoming and they obviously take pride in the restaurant. The food was superb and the drinks were very reasonable.... more

Just shows what nonsense the star system is! This hotel punches way above its weight for cleanliness, quality, food and service. We had an excellent stay and would recommend it to all our friends. more

Just returned from a marvellous 3 night break at the Cedar Manor. Lovely, comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant. Hosts were very welcoming. Breakfasts amazing. Just a short walk into town or down to the lakeside. Highly recommended. more

This is our second visit to Cedar Manor and I can say with confidence that I would not stay anywhere else in the Lake District. The Location, accomodation, service and facilities are first class.
