I stayed here recently with my parents, sister and niece. The park itself was great (quiet, safe, great scenery) and the location was perfect. The lodge was lovely and warm and there was always plenty of hot water. Booked a luxurious caravan through a private owner. It worked out at nearly half price than booking through south lakeland holidays. The caravan was lovely with lots of extras like bbq,porch swing and outdoor table that you don't get when booking direct. park facilities were good with pool,bar,shop and the added bonus of being right on the lake.it was beautiful.... Lovely caravans and price along with amazing location. Just beside Lake Windermere. Wifi is also available but connecting through mobile experiences drops. Connectivity through laptops is good though. The caravans are clean with lots of utensils for cooking.

We stayed at grassmere lodge at Easter and had a fantastic time, we booked directly through the owners who were very helpful. The lodge was cosy, warm and had everything we needed We would def use the lodge again and great been pet friendly The Campbell's 2013

We stayed in a ;lodge on Skiptory Howe. It was very old and worn. There was dust under the beds and stains in the bathroom. I reported this to one of the receptionists.
