This is a really friendly place to stay. We were there for the weekend for our Northern Conference of the Lttle Theatre Guild. The guest house was a pleasant 20 minutes stroll from Penrith Players so quite convenient. The welcome was excellent as was the breakfast! Paul made me lovely "fruity" porridge and the full english breakfast was delicious. I... More

We stayed in the disabled room ( room 1 ) and the bathroom was good for a wheelchair user, the car park was big enough for a car with a side ramp, the staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Paul. It was good value for money, clean and breakfast was good and solid. The beds were comfy and... More

My wife and I stayed in this B&B on our first night in Penrith, it's closer to town than another we stayed in which is convenient but next to more of a main road. Quiet all the same though. Paul (I guess the owner) was a very friendly cheery chap, really nice bloke, showed us to our comfortable and well... More

My wife and I could not recommend it highly enough. Paul greeted us and made us feel welcome immediately and could not have been more helpful. The rooms are spotless and Paul's breakfast was wonderful served by a smiling Joan. It has a lovely lounge area and is licensed so drinks are available at a very reasonable price.. We will... More

This is a beautiful period property with a very warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This was our first time of staying at the Norcroft and Paul the host made us very welcome. He is the sort of guy who when you leave you think you have been friends with him for years. We stayed here during our C2C ride and... More
