This is probably our 16th time at one of the centre parcs. As usual a great time was had although it is always extremely expensive for a weekend break. Love the new lodges - dishwasher and grill broken and not fixed! Beds and bedding brill. I know they are trying to be enviromentally friendly but they do need to sort... More

We stayed here many years ago when it was "Oasis". and brand new. Although changes have been made to the pool entrance area and lockers. Some of the facilities are looking tired. The outdoor pool area in particular had missing tiles and looked worned down. The overall cleanliness in the changing rooms needs looking into.I never saw anyone cleaning the floor... More

I say relaxing but what with playing tennis, badminton,ten-pin bowling and hours of swimming i have still come wanting more. We stayed in a two bed roomed lodge on foresters way which was clean, modern, quiet and felt immediately like home. We ate out every night and found Cafe Rouge by far the best food and service and Bella Italia... More

This was our twelfth visit to Center Parcs Whinfell. Children are now grown up but still came with us and there is plenty to do for all ages. Tip - Go swimming on Friday evening if you are here for the weekend because that seems to be the quietest time. Presumably everyone else is still unpacking. Exercise classes are ok... More

Centre parcs had been recommended by friends and family visiting other parks. It took us 50 minutes to get from the Centre Parc drive to the accomodation - not fun with a toddler. We expected to be able to go cycling through the forest, and a fairly good level of accommodation. Disappointed on both counts. There is cycling around the... More

This was our second break in just over 2 months (6-9th jan). Just the tonic after a busy festive season! We always try to arrive early to avoid the check in chaos and make the most of every minute. Bike hire was half price which made it more affordable, if only they applied this all the time the cycle centre... More

3 adults one dog and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, new style lodge had everything you could need and was spotless, you have to keep pooch on a lead so they dont eat the squirrels but there are exercise areas to let them burn off all that energy but to be honest by the time you have trekked through the woods... I previously provided a critical review of Centre Parcs. We visited last year and felt it was getting very shabby. We have just returned from Whinfell and it is vastly improved. The accommodation has been re burbished, arguably to hotel standards. We were very, very impressed. The pool changing rooms have also been re done and they are fantastic. I... More

We have just returned from a long weekend where we stayed at seven pines (4 bed villa) – Party of seven people, we have stayed at Whinfell every year since it was run by the ‘oasis’ group before center parcs took it over. Again we had a fab time and would like to say a big thank ALL the center... More
