We stayed there at end of last March for 4 nights in double room, shared bathroom. Steve and Heather , the oweners, was very nice and helpful! They gave us maps and recommendations where to travel, where to buy sandwiches and even let us try to ride their own bike (because I don't know how to ride and I wanted... More

Just returned from our second three night stay at this fabulous b&b over the Easter weekend. Four adults / one child. Two rooms, one standard double and the family three bedded room. Rooms have a boutique feel -check out the website. All well furnished with comfortable beds, tea n coffee making facilities, decent bathrooms and TV. All spotlessly clean with... More

We booked 2 double rooms for a weekend visit and really enjoyed our stay. Heather and Steve are very kindly hosts and provide a really good breakfast. More

This is a very clean, friendly and cosy bnb. Not at all keen on shared facilities and we weren't told we were getting these until we had walked six flights of stairs to the top rooms! Other than that it can't be faulted and would definitely return if guaranteed an en-suite room. Breakfast was great too :) More

Thanks for the compliments and positive comments but a little confused and disappointed by your remarks regarding the shared facilities. When you knocked on our door we explained that as Easter Weekend all the en-suite rooms were full and offered you a standard double with shared facilities. Under no obligation we offered you the opportunity to view the room, as... More

We went for a romantic weekend based on a personal recommendation and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the lovely feature bedroom with kingsize bed, lovely views and smartly decorated in my favourite colour - purple! Heather and Steve were perfect hosts, the breakfasts were great and the cats were lovely! It was well placed with just a short walk... More

We were given the family room with 3 beds, though there were just 2 of us. It was the only room they had available. The room was decorated nicely and it was nice having the extra room, although a blanket was placed over the extra bed and we were told not to use it or place anything on top of... More

Four of us arrived in Keswick late afternoon looking for accommodation and was very lucky to find such a warm and welcoming couple in Heather and Steve. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfasts are superb. Both Steve and Heather were quick to share things to do and see in Keswick and as we were travelling to... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend as part of a larger group, who were staying just around the corner. They wish they had booked in our bed and breakfast!! The room was a bit on the small side, but extremeley comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts Heather and Steve could not do enough for us. It... More

3 of us went to Keswick as a base for climbing scafell pike up the Corridor route. Most B&B's were full and this was the only one I could find, which turned out to be a great spot of luck as it was brilliant! We had the family room with 3 single beds, and everything was ready for us when... More
