Everything about our stay at Beech House was perfect. A very warm welcome, fantastic room, great breakfast and a lovely building. The hotel is near enough to town to be able to wander in. We would definitely stay here again More

Just spent 2 nights at this lovely B & B. I'm fussy and spend a lot of time searching for the perfect place to stay no matter where we choose to visit and this is the place for us in Kendal. From previous reviews everything has been said, lovely rooms, lovely breakfast, lovely hosts and apart from the hill coming... More

Don't hesitate in booking this delightful Bed & Breakfast. It's about as good as it gets. Beech House is a small hotel in a most convenient location just 5 mins walk (downhill!) to the centre of Kendall. We stayed one night at the end of April on our way to Scotland. We were given a spacious front facing first floor... More

Loved this place. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the penthouse suite when we checked in which was a bonus, there was a dvd player with up to date movies to watch which kept my fiance entertained while I had a lovely relaxing bath in our ensuite...which was about the twice the size of our... We stayed on a Saturday night in March. The hostess was extremely friendly, bubbly and interested in us as guests, she made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Penthouse, which was very clean and nicely decorated in a modern style with a lovely en-suite. The attention to detail with the in-room facilities along with the addition of Kendal... More

We have stayed at Beech House twice now and will be going back again. It's in a great location very close to the centre of Kendal. We stayed in two different rooms and couldn't fault either. Both spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious! Lots of choice, juices, cereals, full English, eggs... There's an honesty bar if you fancied a... More

I had to stay in this hotel for one night as I had a meeting in Kendal the next day. The attention to detail was fabulous. I had one of the smaller double rooms but it was so comfortable. We were met on arrival by the owner, she could not have been more helpful or accommodating Lovely touches like the... More

We'd pushed the boat out and stayed in a deluxe room at Beech House - which was a large double across the front of the house. It was definitely worth it - the room was lovely, with a large bathroom, roll top bath, huge, comfy bed, sofa, DVD and even a small bottle of port supplied. Great breakfasts, friendly proprietors...
