Had a lovely weekend in February with my husband for my birthday. The Spa was amazing and Alexanders the pub served the most amazing food. It snowed while we were there which made it more romantic. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly.
Will definately go back there again.

We came away for the weekend and arrived early at the hotel. The reception staff registered us as arriving. We walked into Kendall approx 1 1/2 miles. a lovely walk and spent the day there. It started snowing about 11am and carried on and on. We walked back to the castle green about 4pm. There was loads of snow everywhere....

What a comprehensive and positive review of your weekend break with us. I was pleased to see that the snow didn’t cause you any problems. However I would recommend a return trip during the summer to fully appreciate the local scenery and the hotel gardens in full bloom!

As you mention our 2 Rosette Greenhouse Restaurant offers a choice of three menus (which can be mixed and matched) or Alexanders Pub (within the hotel grounds) which serves more traditional pub meals and a fantastic selection of local ales.

This is our sixth time of visiting The Castle Green Hotel at this time of year but my first review for the Castle Green.
We arrived early and were met at reception by a very pleasant young man who checked us in and within minutes we were up in our room and unpacking.
