The Lake District gets very busy so Hagg End a great place to unwind, wander country roads, free and easy, come back to quaint old cottage accommodation. Breakfast all round one table, served by host, very friendly, chatted for ages! Went with our dog who had lots of other animal company! Also good base/stop off for walking Dales Way

Hagg End farm is well off the beaten track- no mobile phone reception so it is ideal if you just want to leave the world behind. Evening meals are available on request and I would heartily recommend eating there- Helen is a great cook and you wont be disappointed. Rooms are clean and beds very comfy.
