Lovely old house, full of character (and pictures of hares!) and in a perfect spot with great views of the surrounding hills. My room faced east so I awoke to glorious sunshine through my bedroom window. Ann (known as Annie) is a great host, very knowlegdable about the Lake District and serves a beautiful breakfast. Had a great stay at this cosy b&b. Anne was a brilliant host, very friendly and knowledgeable about places to visit. Breakfast was excellent and enjoyed many a morning natter with fellow guests sharing stories. Local pubs served good food and local ales and only a 2 minute walk away! Will be back one day. More
