Amazing hotel. Beautifully designed and completed to a high quality finish. Contemporary modern style but not minimalist. Very, very relaxing. We had a room overlooking the car park, yet the view of the hills was beautiful, I can only imagine how lovely the view must be from a lakeside room. Our standard room was very good, 7 foot bed! Beautiful bathroom.... More

My sister and I stayed at the Daffodil Hotel & Spa in Grasmere for two nights in May. If you like a modern hotel with all the amenities then this is a great place to stay. The hotel is on Lake Grasmere, across from Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth Museum, convenient and easy short walk to village. We LOVED the... More

I visited the Daffodil Hotel and Spa in Grasmere, which is right between Keswick and Windermere, and closer still to Ambleside, right at the heart of England's Lake District, for a 2 night stay on the 12th and13th of May. I found it easy to find by using the post code LA22 9PR on my SATNAV. The hotel itself is fairly... More

My husband and i went for a weekend break at the Daffodil Hotel , we stayed in one of the junior suites very spacious room with a huge 7ft bed. The only thing missing in the room was perhaps a mini-fridge and a little more cupboard / drawer space. Hotel has been finished to a very high standard and all... More

We stayed for 2 nights last weekend, we upgraded our room and the friends we were with didn't. Our room was spacious but too roomy as there was no sofa and minimal furniture. One of the reasons we upgrade is so that we can relax and read in the room, the chairs provided were so uncomfortable I resorted to reading... More

We only stayed one night at this lovely hotel. Very new interior with lovely modern decor. We had lake view room on 3rd floor which was of a good standard with a huge bed! Bathroom was lovely...smart tv on walk (but no decent internet so not used). Breakfast was lovely (buffet style). We ate out on the evening but enjoyed... More

From the moment that we arrived at reception to the day we left we were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable- we didn't over look the lake but never the less it was lovely. Breakfast was superb offering a wide selection of English and continental breakfast including juice... More

Treated the hubby to a much needed valentine weekend away. Beautifully appointed hotel with friendly staff. Indeed the handy man gave us some great ideas for things to do in the area. A quick 10 minute walk and you found yourself in Grasmere village, step out of the front door and over the road and you are at the Wordsworth... More
