Just stayed with 7 family members including 4 kids and recieved a warm welcome,good location with great views. 3rd time here and we will be back in kids summer hols if available,thanks Mike and Cath,also thanks to the cook for a great breakfast and catering for fussy kids.

We received a warm, friendly welcome at Chestnut Villa, and found the accommodation to be comfortable, well-located and good value for money. We would stay there again. The food at the Jumble Room restaurant in Grasmere was also excellent.

This place was just what we was looking for. Stayed in room 9 the decor was lovely and the view was amazing. Mike was really friendly, had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Left it till the last minute to find a B&B for the May bank holiday weekend. Most B&B's don't offer one night stay during the holiday season. What a find!.
