just had 3 wonderfull nights at browside what a peacefull relaxing place so comfortable and clean, breakfasts were superb will be recomending this place to freinds and family.an ideal base for exploring we walked up scafell pike and coniston old man the veiws were stunning, torver and coniston have nice places to eat all fresh and cooked to order.

I stayed four nights. The room I had was attractive overlooking woods with a patio to sit out onto. It had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and fabulous views from the dinning room. Would go again

very comfortable stay here while attending pic nic cinema at Brantwood. Pleasant (if muddy ) walk to the pier for the Coniston ferry to Brantwood. Great cinema experience despite the rain (thanks to our fishermans shelter).
