i went this hostel with school in 1998,by far the best week from school on a trip to coniston for 5 days. the hostel is big and rooms are very nice tidy and neat. has got its own games rooms. i will never forget the experience in coniston and holly how and all the activities we did were just A1.

The food is exellent with huge options that will suite anybodys taste, the meals sizes are very generous which mean you will not feel hungry while completeing any activities that you may participate in. The area of coniston offers many activities that will interest many people.

The food was amazing and we had plenty to choose from. The location it self was very good, located in a little town with plenty to offer. Also, it was a very clean and friendly area and the youth hostel itself was very similar. I would love to go there again in the future.

This is a very well run youth hostel, the standard of the accommodation and the quality of the food are fantastic. The house is set in beautiful grounds, with ample parking. The bar is an added bonus. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are great.
The location is superb, only a few minutes walk to Coniston centre...

The coniston Holly How YHA is a great base for the activity weekend run by Ascent Training. The hostel staff are friendly and food/ service is good. The room standard is not fantastic but facilities are generally clean although we did have a rather odd sink that spurted water when someone had a shower next door!
