Very comfortable stay - clean, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms with good service in a lovely old building. The local village is very peaceful with fantastic views of the mountains (covered in snow on my trip!), and close to Lake Windermere. A great place to stay if you're visiting the Lakes, will try to return for a holiday next time!
