Have stayed here three times now. Comfortable, unpretentious and a bit old-fashioned. Nice food, from traditional roasts to more adventurous fish and veggie dishes. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Stayed with a group of friends. Lovely location, friendly staff and comfortable. Rooms not luxurious but adequate and clean. Lovely log fire in reception area and bar and lounge great for a large group. Dinner menu was different on both evenings we stayed and excellent choices and very well cooked. Waiting staff were helpful and cheery. Breakfast excellent.
