Great location, good welcome and very hospitable. Friendly staff have good knowledge of local area to recommend food etc... Clean rooms, good showers, comfortable beds and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely use again.

Excellent hostel in a stunning location. Staff couldn`t have been more helpful. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a base for walking in the Central lakes area. Parking might be a prob for anyone driving there , But i went on the coach and it`s only 50 yards from the stop and restaurants and pubs aplenty

I stayed here a long time, because I found a job in Ambleside. The hostel is a fantastic place to stay, with clean rooms and ok beds. The showers could do with an overhaul, but are ok nonetheless. It is a good base to explore the beautiful hills surrounding Ambleside.
